Who's going to be partying tonight?
Tonight is the biggest party night of the year (bigger than St. Patrick's Day, or New Years Eve), and lots of people home for the holidays will fill the bars in their home town to revel and carouse. Who here will be participating in the revelry?

1. I might...I might just head out and see some music.
But all my friends are out of town, I think. :-(

2. I will be too busy cooking...
besides, I am an old (pseudo)married man now. We don't usually go out to the bars. We like to sit at home in our rocking chairs and knit.

3. Me. Jam Session Tonite
Playing with my boys tonite. Gonna play bass, guitar and keyboards with different lineups, all of which will include my guitar player and drummer. The three of us are attached at the hip(s).

8. Word!
That's probably what I'm doing, just with five other guys (drummer, another guitarist, keyboard player, saxophonist, violinist, and bassist)

Drunken DMB covers! w00t!

11. This Is A Yearly Deal
The place is always jammed on the Wed nite b4 T'giving. And, we told the bar owner (a friend of ours) that he could probably get away with an all nite affair (7pm until 2) and just give free drinks to those who play. He gets off cheap for a live band nite.

BTW: This is the bar that has about 50% of our old PA system and 30% of our old lighting rig. So, there is no need to bring anything other than stage gear. That's why we play there. 2500w PA, 800w monitors, 24 channels, and 24 lights.

And, it's someone else's job to bring and set up backline. So, all we have to do is show up with guitars, basses, picks and drumsticks. Then, when i get tired, i get to go home. Pretty cool, huh?

I'm guessing there will be at least 20 musicians there, and probably 200 in the listening crowd.

5. Oh yeah!
This stretch of November is always crazy for me because we go right from Yale vs. harvard weekend into thanksgiving. I guess it is good to get all the crazy out before finals and everything.

10. I get to see my nephew tonight.
I cannot think of a better way to celebrate. It is amazing to me how much I can love someone I have known for just a few months and only spent a few days with. This will be the first holiday our family has had a baby around in over 30 years.

13. Enjoy!
My brother and his fiance are going to be married on June 26th, and she has informed the family that the baby factory will be open starting that day. So theoretically, next year will be the last holiday season without babies around.

14. I partied last night. Tonight, I sleep.
Had band rehearsal last night. We don't party at all during practice, but once it's over............

Drug my ass to bed at around 2:30. Got up at 7.

Me very sleepy. Not hangin', but just a bit tired.
