My daughter and i applied for passports on December 27th as the post office, would it be realistic to expect them to be here by the end of this month providing everything checked out ok? thanks

1. Usually it's about four weeks. |

That's been the norm for me.
If you find yourself in a crunch because you have flight tickets already and aren't getting the passport, call your senator or go to the closes federal office that does passports. I can't remember what they're called, but we used to go there in NYC for our employees when we had emergency passport and visa needs.
And I've known of people to call their senators, and they make a call, and the passport gets done pronto.

2. did you pay for expedited service? |
|
Mostly I think its those situations like bank lines - the one you are in takes the longest...if you need them fast they will take 60 days, if you don't need them right away they will be there in two weeks....

4. You should get them before the end of the month unless ... |
|
you end up on the no-fly list.
