Heres a little funny for the evening. Why god invented menopause
With all the new technology regarding fertility, a 65-year-old woman was able to give birth to a baby recently. When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, the relatives came to visit.

"May we see the new baby?" one asked .

"Not yet," said the mother.

"I'll make coffee and we can visit for awhile first."

Thirty minutes had passed, and another relative asked, "May we see the new baby now"?

"No, not yet," said the mother.

After another few minutes had elapsed, they asked again, "May we see the baby now?

"Not yet," replied the mother.

Growing very impatient, they asked, "Well, when CAN we see the baby?"

"WHEN HE CRIES!" she told them.

"WHEN HE CRIES??" they demanded.

"Why do we have to wait until he CRIES??"

"BECAUSE, I forgot where I put him!!!"

2. Hell, I'm a relatively young mother and sometimes I have to double
check to make sure I haven't forgotten one of the three when we get in the car!

5. I left one of mine in the shopping cart at the grocery store once.
He was only about a year old. Got home and had only two of the three. The store was 1-1/2 blocks away and I went tearing back, a nice older lady was standing there talking to him and he was smiling. "I knew you'd be right back," she said pleasantly and went on about her business.

This is one of those parent-memories that pops up on the internal screen occasionally and can make the heart go cold in the middle of a sunny day.

Whenever anybody talked about the working mother whose baby died because she forgot the baby was in the back of the car and left it in the hot sun all day while she was at work, all I could think was, nothing but pure blind stumbling luck kept that from happening to me.
