1. Most anti-perspirants contain very carcinogenic chemicals
You shouldn't use them in the first place.

5. Good link. Nonetheless, I use deodorant, not antiperspirant
"kills the germs that cause the odors".

I left my deo in my gym back, which is nicely locked in the gym.

Luckily, I am not a smelly person.

9. That's Been Debunked for Many Years Now
This is not the only source. I'm pretty sure that CD and NIH both released refutation statements back in the early 90's.

That's just so much hooey. There's no evidence at all that anything in deodorants or antipersps are noxious or unhealthful. And, on top of that, deodorants are making a "claim" so they must adhere to FDA guidelines. The FDA isn't big on making personal care products available to the public that do more harm than good.

13. I didn't wear anti perspirant for a while
I did it for health reasons. I developed several painful inflamed pores while in college. The nurse told me that my pores must be over sensitive to anti perspirant and I should stop using it. This is harder for women than men. The one brand for women at a large grocery store did not work very well. I always worried about smelling and had to reapply several times per day when doing normal activities. If I was actually doing heavy activity, I'd be smelling in under an hour. Men's deoderant worked much better but then I smelled like a man so that wasn't good either. After a couple years, I tried antiperspirant again. I had used Secret before so I tried Lady Speedstick instead and have not had problems with it. I am sure that someone makes good women's deoderant but I don't know where they sell it.
