I had an espresso martini for the first time last night. |
|
It was fantastic- after the liquor buzz wore off, I rode a nice caffeine buzz into the wee hours of the morning. :)

It was Absolut Vanilla vodka, Creme de Cacao, and Starbucks espresso. :9

I haven't had alcohol OR caffeine so far in '06.
I'll have to live vicariously through you now.

I had one at a bar in Seattle that had a (refrigerated) shot of espresso, Starbucks coffee liqueur, Godiva dark and white chocolate liqueurs, and chocolate vodka. Mmmmm....

10. That is NOT a martini. |

It does sound yummy, though.
**Martinis contain gin and the vaguest suggestion of vermouth. Anything else is a "martini."
on edit: That drink sounds more like a White Russian; why do restaurants think they have to call every trendy concoction these days a martini? It's criminal, I tell you.
