Important Correction To This Week's Column: I'm Engaged!
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 03:34 PM by Plaid Adder
The thing that I am MOST thankful for this holiday season is that my partner and I are getting married in Massachusetts!

The legislature could still screw this up for us, but assuming it doesn't, then in about a year's time she will be Mrs. Plaidder.

WOOHOO!!

I didn't mention it in the column because I didn't think she wanted me to talk about it in such a public forum. But, it turns out she doesn't mind! So I can tell the entire world! Thank you, Massachuestts SJC!

Woohoo,

The Plaid Adder

5. Not really.
We like December because it's our anniversary, but we would also like to have it outdoors. Nothing is really worked out yet.

27. Winter is a good time to plan a wedding.
We were married in January. It was very easy to find places for the reception and rehearsal dinner. Now, we never have to fight for reservations on our anniversary.

You can go somewhere sunny for your honeymoon to be outside.

Again, Congratulations!

11. Both.
It will be big for us, but we don't want it to be a gigantic extravaganza.

I can't really talk too much about the details, because 30,000 people read this forum and that's really too much sharing. Plus, we don't really have any yet...

C ya,

The Plaid Adder

19. Congratulations Plaid Adder!
I am thrilled for you and your partner.

As a fashion note, however, no one is mad about plaid when it comes to wedding finery.
