So who's Brining tonite?
They say if you soak the turkey in salt water for 8 to 12hrs before cooking, it makes the breast meat more tender. So we are now soaking our turkey for the first time. I hope it works!!

2. I'm keeping the pizza number handy in case it doesn't work!
I have a good friend who did it last year and swears by it. I don't think she'd steer me wrong!

4. Do We Have James Spader To Thank for This?
He was on the Daily Show a few nights ago and made a huge issue out of it. Next thing I know, DU is all about 'brine, brine, brine.'

8. Me!
Apple cider, maple syrup, salt, ginger, bay leaves and some vinegar.

We'll barbecue the turkey and smoke it with some applewood. Yummy.
