Is there a Sleepnumber bed made for 3 people? |
|
The Sniffas and i were wondering...
if not, isn't that polyamory-discriminatory? :P
and ps: why isn't 'polyamory' in the spellchecker? :wtf:

They just don't make them big enough for people, dogs and cats. And yes, I believe it is polyamory-discriminatory.

6. I don't know about the sleepnumber bed, |
|
but I'm aghast that 'polyamory' isn't in the spellcheck. I mean, even Dean Martin had it:
In Napoli where love is king When boy meets two girls here's what they say
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie That's polyamory When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine That's polyamory Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling And you'll sing "Vita bella" Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool That's polyamory When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet You're in love When you walk in a dream but you know you're not Dreaming signore Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli That's polyamory
I apologize, just couldn't resist ... ;) Besides, I like the song.

what about getting three single mattresses and putting them together in a king frame, or whatever fits?
You could still make the bed as if it were one mattress.

My understanding is that the Ignore Function allows people to ignore those that annoy them - and annoyance is inevitable in a group this big - so why not use it? Some people would prefer to spread negativity than to "miss" anything, I suppose.
Sorry.

46. now see, that's interesting to me |
|
in regard to this thread, it's a) a copycat, and b) about looking for a bed.
why the bed is automatically equated with our sex life is beyond me. i think DUers would be surprised by the amount of sleeping the three of us manage to do. So why shouldn't we want the most comfortable bed?
and secondly, i don't see really any discussion of our sex life in any of our other threads, at least not as they are originally posted. often, it's me or Mrs. Sniffa posting about our drunken silliness when we're partying, or cooking dinner. Oooh, how exciting and scandalous! :eyes: yes, some DUers like to bring up sex in threads about us, because they seem to hold the quite incorrect opinion that our relationship consists of essentially that, sex, and not much else. such people are far beyond wrong, but what are you going to do? people will think what they want. that they hold such opinions is really not my problem.

The no sex threads rule is an envelope you like to push.
Yeah, those mean DUers really enjoy spreading such nasty gossip about you three-- I can't imagine how they could get those ideas.
Two women sitting naked in a bathtub picture? Completely innocent. Nothing to see here...move along.

is this about one pic? one damn pic?! oh my....i never claimed complete innocence, or that we are some sort of celibate triad. and amazingly, i do believe that mrs. sniffa and i have had a bath together and...not had sex afterwards! :o
please, other than that pic, show me where i have been pushing the no sex threads rule envelope...please, show me. i don't recall actively doing that, and i wonder if it's simply a matter of perception.

i don't really see a parallel between a guy bragging about having a threesome and three people who are in love celebrating it in a public way. we're not bragging, we're really happy. and sometimes, we post about it. just like a brazillion other DUers in relationships. the only difference being that those other DUers are in couples, which is a-ok with y'all. so be it.
