I've had more, but quite a few of them got the cookie eventually. I'm sure most of the current batch will in time, but I really don't want to put up with thier shit until that glorious day.

7. I have gone to the list and removed someone

because I was pretty sure they were the "Ignored" in a certain thread. And they were. My curiosity got the best of me. But I'm not curious tonight, so I won't even investigate. :)

5. I recently cleared my ignore list.

With the new year, I decided on a personal amnesty. There were 5 or 6 names on it, I think.

6. I clear off my Ignore list about once a month

I do put people on Ignore; I need cooling-off time; if I don't put some folks on Ignore, I'll post something that'll get me banned. But when it gets tiresome logging in and out to read what is being hidden under that "Ignored" tag, I clear it.

(No, I'm not going to restructure that two-semicolon sentence. I'm going to copy editor hell...)

13. None, but I actually had somebody tell me I was going on HER list!!

I made the "mistake" of disagreeing with her opinion one time and she completely freaked out on me to the point that other posters afterwards were sending her pix of CHILL PILLS. Her incredibly personal and completely unwarranted attack on me actually got deleted by one of the mods and the thread was locked, b/c she went waaay over the line.

It was totally weird and a bit shocking, actually, cuz I'd NEVER had anything like that happen before.

Afterwards, I thought I'd put her on ignore, too...but then I decided NOT to. We all have bad days and obviously she was having a really bad one that day.

I try not to take it personally. It's a good mantra. Ommmmm.....

14. On two different occasions, I have had people on there....

One each time......

Eventually, my feelings towards them changed, and my curiosity got the better of me, so I removed them....

So right now, no-one is on my ignore list. And normally I prefer it that way...

I have to be really PISSED OFF to put someone there......

15. What a quandary - I need both "I hate everyone" & "None"

I put people on ignore when my short temper is getting ready to make me say something that I probably shouldn't. Generally, that lasts for 2 days or so and I take it off. Doesn't happen too much though.

There is one person I've considered putting there. But as long as I remember to take my blood pressure medication, it's not really necessary. And my curiosity would drive me crazy.

I'll shut out half of DU by the end of the year. Everyone goes insane every now and then.
