...especially for those of us who have members of religious orders in our families. Not that I do, of course. But I thought that you did.

Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

3. My Grandma's

Thank you lord for this our food

We, my siblings and i, have this on a plaque in our homes, our children know it by heart. Recite it at every family gathering in honor of Theodosia, my Gramma, who spent 98 1/2 years on this planet, and passed in her bed at home on Mother's day almost 15 years ago now. What a life she lived.

of course, i'm just practicing for tomorrow when i get together with my family, but it's a simple prayer for the times we are in now too.
