Fucking hilarious!
Anybody else seen this one? The guys from Spinal Tap are old-time folkies!

today. If it is funnier than 'Wind' I guess we will be in for a real treat.
'Wind' had my g/f and I rolling on the floor in laughter!

17. Best in show was brilliant |
|
I actually laughed so hard I cried at the scenes at the end with the calendar shots --- "The Burning of Atlanta".
Guffman was good, but a less-conventionally-funny movie vs. Best in Show.

6. I'll Call It A Toss-Up |
|
Those two and Waiting for Guffman all get A- from me. The pacing is a little lethargic in spots, in all three, but for the most part, superb story, great deadpan comedic acting, and hilarious in spots.
Only Spinal Tap gets a full A, from me. But, that's probably because of me being a musician. The Professor

The fact that it is the same cast as Spinal Tap makes it all the more hilarious.

By the end of the movie, I was nostalgic for this completely made-up music. Neat trick, that.
Better than Best In Show and Waiting for Guffman. Perhaps not quite as good as This Is Spinal Tap.

for best song, for "kiss at the end of the rainbow"
Eugene Levy and the woman playing his ex-wife performed it at the Oscar ceremony.
