The disgusting, awful truth about hip hop videos

VH1 is running a special about the young girls who appear in these videos.

It's called: Hip Hop Videos - Sexploitation on the set.

Let me say that "I" think some of the dancing those girls perform look vulgar, nasty and disgustingly disrepectful.

It's almost a "given" that they are required to perform certain sex acts, not just on the artist, but his crew as well.

They are then passed off from man to man.

Used up and thrown away. Treated like trash.

One of them, Karrine Steffans, wrote a book about her experiences:



I only hope that one day these young ladies understand their true self worth, and stop allowing themselves to be treated this way.

Karrine has said that she loved the life, and has no regrets.

That's unfortunate, too.

I'm not condoning it. It's just unfair to say that this is some phenomenon that rappers invented.

I used to watch heavy metal videos. I've watched all kinds.

But they are no where near as nasty and disgusting as hip hop videos.

They are all the same - one - four rappers singing/rapping, surrounded by girls humping and grinding on them and chairs and poles and whatever else is around. With the crack of their asses falling out.

That is art?

You see pop, heavy metal or country videos like that?
