Poll question: Who else is getting sick of Clay Aiken?
This guy is everywhere. He's terrible. His new song is absolutely horrible, even the radio stations that play it are making fun of it.

11. Supposedly Justin Guarini and Tamyra? have been dropped by their labels...
In the case of the latter, it was before her album was even released. I've read that Guarini's album only sold about 56,000 copies.

20. I didn't (couldn't) bear to watch, but I have seen clips elsewhere
Seems to me the black guy (Ruben) COULD really sing! I'd listen to him, maybe even buy a cd, but this strange little (rather effeminate)guy that all the teen girls are cooing over, I don't get. Could he sing at the church social, sure. But I don't see any great talent beyond that. To each his own, though, I suppose. I'm sure he's a great kid, but all the hype? I don't get.

23. Ruben DID NOT win American Idol!
Sorry, but the voting was rigged.

Anyway, Clay is a tremendous talent, but the new CD is awful--can't really say that it's fault because they're trying to cash in on him quick.

He's a better singer than 99.99999% of the schmucks out there.

As for Ruben, no I don't have a problem with his weight, so why do people take offense at that and then comment negatively on Clay's looks?

14. Had to Google--he does look like a "Who."
I don't think I could tolerate hearing him, unless he were singing "Dahoo Dorays."

17. you're lucky
i don't have a CD player in my car, so it's tough. Also the kids at school listen to this crap music frequently, and I hear it all the time unwillingly. Sometimes I even know the words to songs I hate.

18. I am not so sick of Clay Aiken
as I am of that freakish pediphile Michael Jackson. How many boys has he bought off? Besides, MSNBC should now be officially declared the Michael Jackson network!

21. Clay Aiken, name is vaguely familiar
Ok, so he was on that American Idol show. I guess that's why I've heard his name..... from the idiots who talk about TV all the time because they don't have a life.

Stuff like this makes me glad I listen to a locally run radio station that, get this, does not have a play list.

26. Don't fuckin' hate, y'all.
Honestly, I don't even like contemporary pop music, but Clay Aiken has the fuckin' voice of his generation. The sound that comes out of that guy's mouth is epic, no matter how terribly produced his first record is. Soon enough, he'll have the clout to get a producer who knows what to do with that sort of talent.
