1. Nobody to make love with
Oh well. Don't need to care about that anyway.

9. I was going to choose "OTHER"
And tell you that I would rather watch the Lions beat the Packers today, but when I saw the "Make Love All Day" option I chose that one.

My Lions probably won't win anyways.

:( ...no

 ...yes

2. I like that first option
much better than what I'm actually going to do-- make 2 different kinds of sweet potatoes, then drive to Brooklyn in a traffic jam.

But I AM grateful for my sweet family, and food, and my car! (sudden attack of guilt coming on)!

3. I feel a little tiny bit guilty too.
I have a lot to be thankful for, but I'm pretty much in a pissy mood and I don't want to leave the house.

10. Hi.
For me, it's still all about the accident and losing the baby. I'm not ready to see everyone all at once.

6. Me too!
I really want to stay home with my cats, clean my house and paint. I'm not in the mood for defending my life to my grandparents, which is what I will have to do.

17. That'd be something to be thankful for!
Imagine a job you'd rather go to than take a long weekend... wow!

Nah, I only do what I do because I'm not (quite) old enough to quit and collect my pension instead.

But I could easily spend all day today on DU, and I will if I'm not careful.

I'm sure I'll be sneaking off and checking in a few times today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

16. Best of all worlds
I had Thanksgiving a week ago with my family so I wouldn't have to travel on the packed airlines. It was absent the Rush Limbaugh-fan family member. I'm very thankful.

My husband and I had Thanksgiving again on Wednesday night; just the two of us. Then he took off to celebrate with grandchildren. I like kids; just for about a half hour at a time, though.

He fixed me a Thanksgiving feast which only has to be put in the oven today.

I have good books to read, fine food and wine, a couple interesting work projects and a wonderful day in the 50s to enjoy while I pot up about 100 paperwhite narcissus bulbs for Christmas.

Yup, life is good.

19. I do kind of groove on all the cooking that I've been doing
for the last three days.

But I guess if I could magically make the day anything at all, me and a really great guy would be laying around in our jammies, watching rented movies with car chases and explosions, boinking until we had friction burns.

I'm going to beat the hell out of myself today to justify all that eatin'.

Whoa, boy.

24. What about football?
Nothing more important on Thanksgiving than checking out the local High School rivalry game before pigging out out with the family and watching the NFL.
