1. neweurope! That was really nice to see this morning.

I am good! Made it there and back with just a little bit of trouble. Panhandler knocking on the window. Sometimes I just can't believe this is America. Driving through these neighborhoods is like driving through a 3rd World country at times. It also gives me a renewed hatred for slumlords and those people looking to make a buck.

On the bright side, I saw evidence of revitalization with a couple of new homes being built. Of course, they are overpriced for the area. :hi:

Yes, I know parts of your country are like the Third World... I had a book "Pictures from America" - from the seventies, I think, when everybody here still admired American glamour - that showed this quite clearly. So the signs of revitalization are the more important.
