Every year, the Salvation Army mooches money off of the people, claiming they're a helpbul business.

They discriminate against people. Namely GLBT folk.

Well

They won't hire GLBT folk.

They also discriminated against an acquaintance of mine in his time of need.

8. They Also Charge The Homeless For Shelter

In my area, a individual is "entitled" to stay a week at a shelter after the proper documentation is provided. If you don't have the money they will kick your a** out on the street.

I've been there and now volunteer at a day care center for the homeless; if anything, they're far more arrogant than in the past thanks to Dimbo and his faith-based bullshit.

Local chapters in larger cities--such as LA--have passed resolutions offering benefits to partners of gay and lesbian employees, but the national board has come out and over-ruled them, not allowing them to make such decisions on a local level.

If a phony dollar bill is going to annoy them or make them reconsider (how do you know I won't donate for real if they become inclusive of ALL HUMAN BEINGS?), I will be making and using plenty of them.
