What new movie should I rent tonight?
We were thinking about Bruce Almighty.

I'm thinking something light and entertaining.

1. Bruce Almighty was one of the worst films of the year
If you want something light and entertaining, allow me to recommend:

1. The Taste of Others-2001 (French romantic comedy)

2. Death to Smoochy-2002 (Dark comedy, Robin Williams and Ed Norton-wonderful film)

2. x-men 2
Has enough plot holes to drive a truck through, but it IS light and entertaining...with cool special effects.

Bruce Almighty was good too, BTW.

8. I just bought X2
I broke my own rule, but the 2 disc set was $14.99 - I don't often buy movies anymore and $14.99 is almost reasonable.

Haven't watched it, but I've very heard it's good apart from a cop-out at the end. (from the plot I've read, it's defintiely the type of plot I enjoy... wih betrayal, brainwashing, a grand plot, and deceit...)

9. I recently watched three movies on DVD and enjoyed all three
"X-Men2", "Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life" and "Legally Blonde 2". All three are worth watching. I had also rented "Terminator 3" earlier this week but returned it without getting through the first 30 minutes. It was a chore to watch even that much.
