6. I saw Ann Margaret in Vietnam

She traveled with Johnnie Rivers and performed at base camps. I have an 8 x 10 photo taken at the show that the photogs were throwing away. I garnered it and got her to autograph it. Fought for 10 years to keep "crazy wife" from throwing it away when she found it in the military papers.

8. I was at Lai Khe in 1965, 1st Infantry, when

Ann Margaret and Johnny Rivers played a USO show on the back
of a flatbed truck out in the bush. Funny, I don't remember those
two performers sneaking into our base camp in the middle of the night. Trust me, it was a mighty hot spot. In fact, Rivers and Margaret stayed on after the show to visit with us troops.

I guess MonkeyNuts can truly say now he's been to war. What a puke bucket PR chickenhawk chickenshit.
