IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. BUSH FLEW ON AIR FORCE ONE, SECRETLY, TO IRAQ, AND MET WITH THE TROOPS IN BAGHDAD. It sucks, it was pure PR, it doesn't make Bush a good guy, but it happened.

Having said that, I gotta admit that I love conspiracy theories, and have always found the moon fake landing thing kinda intriguing, even though astronauts undeniably went to the moon. IT HAPPENED.

I understand that the original post was a joke, as he mentioned later, it was a false rumor designed to impugn Bush's credibility, just like the false stories the RW has planted in the media for years. That's fine. But let's not get carried away. God knows, we have RW plants here on DU, trolling and giving links to Andy Sullivan and Rush Limbaugh, who then broadcast to hundreds of thousands our discussions here. The last thing we need is to be painted with another "wacko conspiracy nut" brush.
