I need advice on writing a cover letter |
|
Here is the problem that I have.
The job wants someone with an Associates Degree in Chemical Engineering Technology. I am one year away from a BS in Chemical Engineering and the only reason why I don't have the AD is that I did not declare it, but I have all the relevant experience.
How do I write a good cover letter to convince the company that I am still qualified for the job even though I don't actually have the degree they want.

2. Emphasize the coursework and experience you have in that area |
|
They're probably not really looking for a piece of paper, they want to know if you have the specific expertise they need. And since it sounds like you have more than what they're asking for, you should be in a good position to catch their attention.
