1. My bio-clock is off and I can't stand the shorter days! |
|
I have never felt so out of sorts with the time change this year, and it's pissing me off.
How does the rest of DU deal with seasonal affective disorder?

6. One thing: get out where people are. |
|
Yesterday was horrible, EVERY thing in the city was closed, thought I would go crazy. Today everything is open, BUT we are having snow flurries this evening, :o so the bars and cafes will shut down again. After all, the streets are WET... :eyes:
But ordinarily I deal with SAD by gtting out of my house as much as possible. Hiking on sunny days is really good, if you are where you can do that. If you have large windows on the south side of your house, make sure the curtains and shades are pulled back (up) as far as you can get them; I have set up a "Florida room" in my town house, and can sunbathe on my bed if I like.

Hell, if it existed would be bright with the flames of eternal damnation.
It must be darker than hell where you are
