1. Okey dokey... Should I feel sorry for salesmen who sell hummers?
Especially the female salespeople... if I were extroverted, you can imagine how much fun I'd have going to the hummer dealers in the Twin Cities area...

But I hate hummers. The SUV that eats fuel for breakfast and gets 20 gallons per mile, let's just make that clear right now! :D

D'you think anybody has actually used "the other" meaning of hummer, just to make the salespeople feel uncomfortable?

Who came up with the name 'hummer' anyway? Surely he, and it was a "he", had realized "the other" meaning of it?!

You've chosen the third "best" German, according to this much-discussed show http://www.zdf.de/ZDFde/inhalt/31/0,1872,2085567,00.html , as your avatar I see.

Leibniz is not even on the list.

Other people (Gauss has, as does Leibniz IMHO) that have no business being on such a list include: Kohl(13), Kübelböck(German Idol One-Hit-Wonder 16), Heino(47)...

The results are a less than stellar resume for the German TV watchers - about what was to be expected.
I've watched the shows once: they lobbied Adenauer the whole time ("Our chief historian thinks...").

30. Would you poke your finger in a dark drawer
if there was a good chance of there being a family of spiders in there?
Why would someone do something like that? My god, they could be black widows or maybe brown recluse. Wanna lose your finger - go ahead - jam it in there and see what happens.
