If someone on DU were to watch "24" where might I find any kind
of conversation about this amazing program?
Am I alone?

1. I'm totally hooked, and believe me, I hardly EVER watch TV.
I checked out the first few episodes of year 1, but couldn't maintain the regular viewing and eventually stopped watching. The pre-buzz of this latest season, however, convinced me to check it out again and I've been hooked.

I've noticed after it's on, on Monday night, there are a couple o' threads about it.....just look for them, I guess.

Or PM me! :)

:hi:

3. We've been watching since
it started, what, 5 years ago? Last Saturday night we watched
the first 4 hours, taped w/o commercials. This program is unimagineable,
unbelieveable, and great for TV. For me/us, the best program on, bar none.

5. watch the dvds
man, I was insane about them. I watched seasons two and three in about a week. Then I waited and waited and waited for 4 to come out and breezed through that in like two days. I would have watched them all faster but I had to wait until some of the episodes came back to Blockbuster, it's worth it.

11. Good call. I didn't even know they were available at Blockbuster.
thanks for the tip!
:hi:

I HATE the effing commercials and we haven't done the tivo thang yet, on our end. We just don't watch enough TV to justify it, imo.

2. it's like crack
the suspense nearly kills me. I didn't watch the 2,3 and 4 seasons because it gets to me too much. But I waited until they all came out on dvd and immersed myself in them. The suspense of Season 5 is getting to me already. :)

4. Yes, though crack ain't my thing,
:P , it's like the best damn show on! My sister did the same thing as you; suspended belief until
she saw the dvd's, and immersed herself.
I'm a long--term diehard. Since the get-go, baby!

6. season one I was glued to the tv every week
I just went nuts. Like I said, I couldn't take the suspense so I sat out a few seasons, haha. But I caught up. A few years ago I met Mia Kirshner who plays the ubiquitous bad girl who blows up that one plane and tries to assassinate David Palmer and kidnaps Tony etc. I was like " I loved you on 24!" Plus, she is so little and gorgeous. I love her character.

7. I'm pretty much obsessed with 24
I've been watching it since day one. Hell, since the first 12:00:00 tick of the clock on the show, I've been watching it. That show, Arrested Development, and Family Guy are the only shows I watch on network TV!

it all good!
"24" is the absolute best in my book!

10. its the ONLY show I watch on any of the networks
I love it. I purchased the DVDs for season 1 and 2 because I started watching it during season 2. Made a weekend of it.

13. great show
though I am finding it a bit flaky when it comes to the romantic entanglements. I wish they'd just stick to the terrorism stuff and leave the love triangles for daytime soaps.

14. Millie, I so agree
When I watch "24" and "Alias"*, I keep think, God, if these characters' real life counterparts are like this, our country is in real danger.

*I've only seen the second season of "Alias" on DVD. Are the other seasons this discomforting?

15. I think this season is the best yet.
I can't stand it that we have to wait a whole week for the next show!
