4. actually....
i started on the 1st one, and it just didn't taste right, which i attribute to my being used to a different brand of vodka (Three Olives, btw...soooo good)....so, i gave up on that, and have now had 3 Sam Adams Boston Ales as well as 1 bowl of kind bud...

:)

wow, no typos!! :wow:

2. I have those all the time. Been that way for a couple years.
Been a year since the disc impacting the spine was removed. No improvement.

7. haha, yes, there's that, and...
to tell you the truth, (you specifically, that is), sometimes i worry that i'm going to get what my dad has...muscle twitches, weird pains...but, i try not to think about it, and i assume it's just b/c i'm getting old :D

13. I can understand why it would worry you, kiddo.
I hope I wasn't being insensitive (while trying to be funny) with that post. I should have given it a bit of thought first.

But not worrying is the best thing you can do for yourself. I now it's hard not to, but believe me, denial has worked great for me for a long time.

How's your dad doing, by the way? If you don't want to talk about it in public, you can send me a PM. I'll be here for you, but only for a few minutes, as explained here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=105&topic_id=4667342&mesg_id=4667342

From the little I know them, I'd bet that the Sniffas are wonderful people to whom you can unload your worries, but if you need another ear you can use one of mine anytime.

14. awww, you're the best!
well, i don't think you heard about this, but my dad almost died AGAIN! :o

he had another surgery on his kidneys, and his BP went to 'you're almost dead' levels...several days in ICU, then he got a hospital-borne infection! yay! :eyes:

miraculously, he recovered in a week, and he got home before i did! :D

he's ok, for now...complaining about his new diabetic diet, so that's a good sign :P

thanks for asking, and no worries about your post, at all...

yes, the Sniffas are incredibly supportive, and wonderful listeners as well...i am truly blessed to have them :) :) :)

but, i'll take you up on the offer if i ever need it, rest assured

15. Glad to hear all is going as well as it can. Read my reply to your post
in my Ambien thread; I think it'l cher you up.

Good night, BB. Sleep well, and dream pleasant dreams. Pass along my wishes for a peaceful night to the delightful Sniffas as well, would you?

PS: Not being religous, I don't pray, but will try to direct some of my dharma into good things for your father.
