Anyone wanna help me try to understand something weird that happened to me
I'll go in to depth what happened if you pm me or something. Basically I get a IM from someone saying they like me and stuff, I dont know who this person is, and its really weird and kooky and shit, and then they ask me to reveal a crush I had, and I didnt remember, so the person remembered, and I remembered then, and then they started going apeshit over me. I dont get this. This is too weird.

and the weird thing was according to this person, two of my friends who I am kinda honestly trying to distance myself from were right there and they are now pissed at me. Totally weird and no people I did not start pot. I got the convo and will show you scripts of it, if you IM me online with AIM or Windows Messager. Weird thing is these two friends of mine do not know my AIM sn or even know I gots one I think. This is so strange.

15. You can search AIM for buddies
According to an email address. If they know your email, they can find out your AIM sn. Even if you havn't written to them directly your email addy may have been on some forwarded messages.

5. Hmmm... maybe this is some kind of practical joke?
It's probably either nothing or an attempt at being funny (maybe maliciously, maybe not).

It's possible you're being targeted by one of the two "friends" you're trying to get away from, because they know what you're up to and just want to give you some s**t as a parting shot.

Whatever it is, don't work yourself up over it, and don't speak to these former friends any more than you have to.

Possibilities:

A: Random friends have nothing to do but pester you. (Highly Likely)

B: Someone really likes you, because you are a sweetie. (Awww...:))

C: Someone is disgustingly obsessed with you. In which case you don't have to do anything for that person to be crazed. (Please be safe.)

It's probably a combination of bored friends that exploit someone that likes you (or vice versa). The point of that activity is to control your time and attention. (A little like the freeper invaders on this board.)

Set some limits Mr. Kleeb. You don't have to respond to every person that randomly instant messages you. It sounds like you are at least a little disturbed. Don't waste your time, if you don't want to.

On Edit: Does anyone have your sn? Not to be ageist, but when I was in high school privacy and discretion where not that tight.

23. Yeah, it could be a prank by friends
I once had a bunch of engineering students try to play a phone sex prank on me. It didn't work, I'm too straight-laced.

27. You are very active on this board and don't hide your identity.
I could come down to Virginia and try to find you if I really felt like it, but since I'm not some kind of psycho case I wouldn't bother. But there are weirdos out there.

you use your real name here - just be aware that ANYONE who PMs you, who replies to your posts, COULD BE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS YOU. Hence, someone could f*** with you. Be careful!!!
