even had the nerve to post pictures. I would have been embarrassed to post pics of
10 people at a rally. The same day A.N.S.W.E.R. had about 80,000 or so anti
war protestors at their rally in washington.

The posts suggesting it was an impostor are preposterous. The fact that numerous pictures had shown less-than-happy troops suggests that he was there! You'd find scores of happy troops in Nevada, because they're not living in those hot conditions, nor are they dying for bush's* lies, deceit, deception, vanity, and vengeance.

It's a staged event that partially backfired, though the freepers would think he's brave and a success. :eyes:

We do have summer weather that's almost as hot as Baghdad's. It's

time on negativity so I didn't go into other threads. But I have a question. Do these people discuss issues, news and events as we do on DU or is it just a bash fest. I know we do our share of Bush bashing, etc. but it is not without good reason and a source of venting our frustration with the administration we are stuck with. Our posts are interspersed with news items,information and intelligent discourse on a varity of subjects. Does the LGFB have the same tone or format? It would be interesting if that were the case to try and understand if their opinions are based on fact/information or mere emotion. I did bookmark the site to investigate the quality of LGFB but I'm looking to see if it is worth my time. Any answer?

The posters sometimes seem to be trying to outdo each other with outrageous commentary, mostly along the lines of 'nuke Mecca' or some such nonsense. Post at your own risk though.
