Downtime this Sunday (Feb. 5th) around 4pm eastern

The discussion forums will be unavailable on Sunday for several hours starting around 4pm eastern, and continuing potentially late into the evening. We are scheduling this downtime specifically around the time of the SuperBowl since most DUers will be away watching the game.

We are going to attempt to go live with our new database server, which, if successful, will be a huge step forward for us. As always, upgrades like this make it generally extremely difficult to predict the exact amount of downtime, or whether or not we're going to encounter problems that require us to reschedule.

Thanks again for your patience while we continue to implement these upgrades to our systems!

I never quite understood ANY television threads be it sport of family guy, we're all watching the same thing and typing in whatever appeals to us.

Pitchers and catchers report round the 20th, Daytona in a week, it's 58 degrees here when it should be zero and 2 feet of snow, the moth's are flying around and you think I'm going to be watching two teams of steroid pumped muscleheads bang on each other for 4 hours?

Mine has plastic on one side instead of rubber. I have no clue but it's great for wayward appendages too. So getting back to this football shit taking away from my DU time, no way.
