2. He went back to it several years ago
Guess he got tired of going to Applebee's and hearing, "Table ready for dumbass-indecipheral-symbol. Dumbass-indecipheral-symbol, your table's ready."

3. Uh, actually, he was NOT being an asshole with that "formerly known as"
business. I had though it was just being pretentious, but the truth of the matter is that he had a contractural dispute with his publisher (I think it was Sony/BMG), and was not allowed to record under his own name for several years.

I'm not sure I've ever heard one of his songs, so I don't know if he's any good or not, but I don't hold the "formerly known as" business against him anymore. He was just lashing out at the goddamn lawyers, and who can't sympathize with that feeling?

5. Deal. If you say he's a good musician, he must be.
I have heard that he's an excellent guitar player.

Speaking of which, I re-strung my good guitar tonight, for the first time in almost ten years. It was a bit overwhelming. I think I'll wait until tomorrow to see if I'll be able to start playing again.

9. Thanks. The birthday morning worked out well; she really liked the
100 post-it notes. Expressed her appreciation for me being able to come up with something unexpected, even after 15 years.

It would be good to see you again. We're really going to try to have a gathering here in the summer. I know you're a city girl, but you'll like this little town where we live.

around the Lounge when we set a date.

8. He couldn't have used another name? He had to use a symbol?
I dunno, I think it was a little gimmicky. He could have called himself King or something, as long as it wasn't his name, right?

14. Very Intelligent guy
Doesn't play the music industry games at all, sells all him music thru his website via memmbership to download. Was on letterman or leno and said he souldn't have to put up with record companies when it comes to royalities, so he sales his music on his site instead at a lower cost, and then he doesn't have to share the profits. This was like 6 years ago so he was ahead of his time way before I-Tunes existed.
