36. Double damn you.
My sister emailed me the other day, "Where should I go for lunch, In N Out or Burger King?" I replied

"IN N OUT YOU FOOL! DON'T EVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED!"

When she got back to her office, she had the gall to tell me how fab her cheeseburger w/ grilled onions & fries were. Bitch.

GOD, I am so fucking homesick.

OK - you miss Del Taco? That's a serious jones!

I miss the chicken sandwiches with the pepper on it from Carl's Jr. and my double double animal style frim I'n'O. Oh, and Claim Jumper, don't get me started on Claim Jumper.

Damn...I'm hungry now.

Edit - I should say that I've never lived in CA, but I have visited at least 6 times. :D

42. Del Taco was my first job
and surprisingly I never got sick of it. But it is INFINITELY better than that poor excuse for "mexican" fast food, Taco Hell.

Are you anywhere near a Hardee's? Carl's bought them. I don't know if they have the great chicken sandwiches, but they do have the good burgers. (It's a guilty pleasure, eating at Carl's/Hardee's; Carl Karcher is a big supporter of the anti-choice movement.)

Yeah. Claim Jumper. Whisky Chicken....

Sigh.

44. Taco Hell is not food. It's sustinence at best.
Living in Texas, I have come to learn that any Mexican fast food is just crap, unless it's a local outift that uses fresh ingredients. There's one here that just rocks.

Carl's Jr. and Hardees both tried breaking into Texas, but didn't last.

Oh, for more drool...Chocolate Motherlode Cake. :9

Taco Bell just isn't where it's at. In fact, that covers the only two fast foods I will eat in a linch...Del Taco and In-n-Out.

I would gladly shipe them if they shipped well.

So from Cali to Md..eh?

There's one right up from my apt on Lankershim here in NoHo. Damn, gotta put some shoes on now.

Will make a great break from studying (re our earlier "conversation," NSMA)

But I don't think even a Double Double is worth dealing with Sunset on Saturday night. (assuming we're both talking about THE Sunset)

38. interesting site, but they're slightly off about the bible verses
Each size cup has a different verse reference stamped into the bottom. Off the top of my head all I can remember is John 3:16 and Proverbs 3:5-6 ("trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" etc. -- clearly the basis of many a fundy's failure to think for themselves).

As to "only blond children work there" -- an exaggeration.

As you see, I miss In N Out so much I am ultra-nit-picky about this. sigh

It's a county-by-county decision. LA County, with arguably the most In n Outs, is one of them.

Useless fact you probably care nothing about since you don't live here... ;-)
