But it's very much dumbed down from the book. Too bad, because while details always have to be left out in going from book to movie, dumbing down isn't necessary.

4. I really disliked this movie
I saw it with a friend before Thanksgiving dinner and at least I got a good nap in!

5. Saw it ... hated it!
I'm a huge Michael Crichton fan, and I thought the casting and direction was absurd. Billy Connelly might be hilarious when he's doing a comedy skit talking about the jobbie weecha or steel wellies ... but as an actor he just doesn't do anything for me.

Story-wise ... it was also too dumbed down.

I give it 4/10
