1. Not exactly, but we had a good time.

There were others expected, but they didn't join in on the fun, Bush-bashing and Democratic strategizing. :spank:

There were also social discussions of course, including lazarus and I having an incredibly arcane discussion on poker. :D

But wishing I knew more more about the intricacies you guys were talking about. I think I play pretty good poker with basic strategy. And, maybe basic strategy is what you guys were talking about. But it sounded like you guys were discussing the finer points of cold fusion!

You know, I almost never play. But, if you watch ESPN or ESPN2, you'll come upon the 2003 World Series of poker, broken into 30-minute segments. The Travel Channel also has a series on no-limit poker.

Good thing for editing, because watching people play poker for hours on end could get boring, but the TV shows focus on the better moments. I might pick the game up via the internet, just for fun.
