I'm off to Phoenix on Tuesday. |
|
Visiting some fandom friends for two weeks. Any suggestions for "OMG YOU HAVE TO SEE/DO ____" activities?

I'm really looking forward to seeing some natural sights. I don't get to very often (one drawback of living in NYC).

Highs are near 80 and no rain in sight. Hope you enjoy your trip!

5. If you have allergies, take your meds and ask your Dr about 2xing. |

Phoenix is a valley, and it hasn't rained in months. It's also a car city, so there is a lot of pollution. It is one of the most polluted cities in the US. If you have allergies, the pollution will exacerbate them. If you don't have allergies, you might still need Claratin or Benedryl.
Other than that, there's very little to see. It's a new city, very little in the way of history or culture. It's an exercise in sprawl and not very attractive. My opinion, anyway.

I have allergies. Bad ones. Guess I'd better get my Claritin refilled.
Thanks for the tip.

That's awesome! :D
I will have to slip by to see the Angels, even if they creamed my Yankees. I've been so starved for baseball.

11. Don't speed on the 101 loop in Scottsdale! |

They have new speed cameras up and you'll get a ticket if you go faster than 65. :(
