3. Homemade clam chowder and some salad

and some raw radishes and celery!

You're chili counds wonderful! How do you make it? Is yours suopy? Super thick? Do you put macaroni in it? My mom made what I always think of as "real" chili (since it's what I grew up with) that was soupy - used to love to put velveeta in the bowl, and a lot of crackers. Dad awlays loved taht chili with elbow macaroni, which I hated. Most times, dad got his macaroni wish.

Nothing better than on a snowy day, after a couple hours of playing in the snow - I mean, shoveling the driveway - and gettinga ll cold and tired, then coming inside for mom's chili with the velveeta cheese, a big glass of milk, and vienna bread smothered in peanut butter.

Mmmmmm..... a big glass of milk! Haven't had that in a long time.

9. Well, so far today, just chips and guacomole.....

As good as the chili and cheese dogs sound, I think I'd have to call the arterial Roto-Rooter guy after all the decadent stuff I've eaten since just before Thanksgiving. Enjoy for me, though!

10. Tony is making grilled flank steak

It's sliced super-thin, and he grills it up with green onions and spices, and then we eat it with flour tortillas, black beans w/sour cream, a lime rice and avacado salad! YUMMY stuff! :)

11. New England pepper steak

beef round medallions, green peppers from the garden (frozen by the chef) onions, chopped tomatoes (from the garden, frozen by the chef and the main gardener) garlic,mushrooms, oregano and thyme, fresh from plants that have been brought in from the garden, all cooked and blended into a wonderful stew like meal, and served over pasta.
