Anyone Ever Wear a Holter Monitor? |
|
I'm having those damned near-fainting things and dizziness again, and Meniere's has been ruled out since it doesn't last months like this does. So now I get to wear a Holter monitor sometime next week. Can I wear a bra with it, or will I be extra bouncy for 24 hours?
My previous echocardiograms and EKGs have shown my heart to be about my only okay organ, so I don't really expect anything from the Holter expect a rash from the adhesive.

I have worn them, more than once.....
You will have no problem with wearing a bra....normal clothes are fine...
No extra bouncy for you!
You will not, however, be able to shower....unless they have figured out a way since I wore mine.
Spot washing is OK, though....
And I don't remember having a rash from the electrodes, so you shouldn't have any problem there unless you have very sensitive skin.
Good luck and I hope they find out what the matter is!

But at least I won't bounce (or let's be real - my knees won't bruise 'em). Thanks for the info!
I have the feeling it's like a lot of the other things I have - annoying but not very fatal.
