Do you think I could bribe Skinner into telling me who gave me hearts? |
|
I was thinking of perhaps seeing if for the second part of the fundraiser he would offer up the names of the givers for 10 bucks each. Do you think he might go for that? I can't be the only person on DU wondering about it.
I have no idea where mine could have come from and it's driving me nuts trying to figure it out. However, I have to admit I'm having fun with the mystery. ;)

|
DU could make a bundle off of this thing. :D

8. That's an interesting idea. |
|
But we can't do it, because the software doesn't keep track of who gives hearts to whom.
So... to all of you who gave hearts to the admins, we appreciate the gesture but we can't give you any favorable treatment in return because we don't know who you are. ;)

11. Is this a function of the forum itself, or something on top of it? |
|
DU seems remarkably adaptable.

12. It is something on top of it. |

Elad programmed it himself.
In fact, most of DU was programmed by Elad. The software barely resembles the original forum software we built it from.

Call Me Wesley and I gave more money to DU that we've ever given to any cause in a two-day period, and we did it as a way of sharing the love anonymously. If our names had been attached to the hearts we gave, we wouldn't have donated during the fund drive. :hi:

And I thought I was wallpaper here, then I get a heart.
