It was quite cold....the wind was so strong, that at one point, I was able to stand with my back into it, and the wind held me up.

I couldn't stay for the hour I'd planned, the wind was so bad!

I suspect the dark object is a tanker of some sort...it isn't usually out there.

There are a lot of those around here, since we have a refinery next door in El Segundo...

That was the second place in California where oil was discovered!

Yes, the water was cold...and the wind blew VERY hard .......

I only stayed out there 15 minutes, and normally I stay close to an hour!
