eastern Will County in northeast Illinois
Central Lake County in Northwest Indiana

* until 415 PM CST

* at 343 PM CST... a trained spotter reported a funnel cloud and radar
indicated rotation 9 miles southwest of Beecher..moving northeast
at 60 mph.

* The tornado is expected to be near...
St. John by 400 PM CST...
Schererville by 405 PM CST...
Merrillville by 410 PM CST...

Do not wait until you hear or see the tornado. Take shelter now.

If no basement is available... seek shelter in an interior closet...
bathroom... or hallway on the lowest floor. Stay away from windows.
