3. Well...I correspond regularly with Sidney Blumenthal, the writer.

Wrote "The Clinton Wars" and writes today for the "Guardian" in the UK. That is where I got his email address. Nice guy. Usually responds with about 3 sentences.

With Jones, I had just asked him why he claimed in two different films that Glen Matlock was always washing his feet, and had Matlock had some sort of fungal problem. Jones replied, "Nah, he was just clean."

With Casale, I had just sent in a comment about one of his anti-administration rants on the clubdevo site, and he responded nice and tersely.

With Roach, I had asked a question about a paragraph in one of his weekly commentaries and was delighted to get his very cranky reply.

Similar stuff with Malkiel and Siegel.

7. I sent one to Dan Savage last week

He was asking his readers if Savage Love should get behind the "ITMFA" campaign (Impeach the Mother Fucker Already). One of his readers suggested this a few weeks back, suggesting that he could do the same with ITMFA as he did with "santorum".

I told Dan that I thought he absolutely should. Hell, I'll buy one of those ITMFA t-shirts if they come out.
