I just had my second interview. I answered many hypothetical questions like: “You’re in a burning building, you can either save a kitten with the cure for cancer inside it or your own mother...which will it be?”
I talked to 5 different people, answered some questions well and others not well.
Here’s hoping I get the job, and more so, that I like the job.
Waiting is the worst part.

11. Let's hope you DO hear either way. |

I've had second interviews that they didn't even give me the courtesy of a phone call. Class is not a corporate standard nowadays.

What kind of job asks those types of questions? The last time I saw ones like that was a civil service exam I took in the 80's.

But they were ethical questions like, customer X wants a refund but it is past the 30 day return policy...what do you do? What do you do if he has posted a negative review on amazon.com because you refused the return? What are the ethical implications of that?

Well they did ask questions like that in my military entrance exam and a civil service test I took later. The one I always remember was if I was being charged at by a tiger would I shoot it. Something like that. Good luck :hi:

9. Hypothetical? Or hyperbole-ridden? |
|
I mean, how many kittens hold the cure for cancer? NONE.
Those questions have no part in a job application form and I suggest you contact your state's attorney general. He holds the cure for this sort of chicanery.
