I was sent home with just eye drops and this clear plastic thing with holes in it that I had to tape to my face when I went to bed. Was weird wasnt it? I was only 24 when I had my congenital cataracts removed and I will never forget that experience. Quite weird not seeing what was going on.

Laying too flat can cause blurry vision that takes a few days to correct. This happened to my dad. When he had the second one done, he kept his head raised and was fine. Of course, use the drops.
And, I'm of the belief that a scoop of ice cream will always help in the healing process. ;)

Actually, things have gotten better since my mother's day when she had these big sunglasses she had to wear.
I was the youngest in the bunch of patients getting the surgery. They didn't want it, I did. I was tired of having driving problems, sun glare in the daytime, impossible at night. Get it done, I said!
I am hopeful for better eyesight than before, which I understnad usually happens.

6. Thanks. My doc did explain that to me. |

But it's great that you warned me. I'm probably going to have my other eye done in April, unless this is so spectacular that I don't have to have the other one done.

I don't know how anybody, pirates included, could do jackshit will a patch over one eye. Since I can't balance my glasses over the patch, my good eye doesn't provide very clear vision. Getting the patch removed this afternoon. I am hoping for the very best!
