I just saw the least politically correct movie ever - "2001 Maniacs" |
|
A remake, or re-imagining or whatever they call them these days of the gory H.G. Lewis classic "2000 Maniacs"
Basically what you have in this flick is a group of horny college students are on their way to Ft Lauderdale for Spring Break, they pass through this southern town of "Pleasant Valley" where they turn out to be the guests of honor. But the town is a little strange - no electricity, no cable, no cars...everyone dressed in antebellum period clothing and flying Confederate Flags.
And of course, as it is a horror movie, each of the students gets killed in a very gruesome way.
Funny, no holds barred and filled with all that made 80's horror films great - it even has Robert "Freddy Kreuger" Eglund as the town mayor.
Tavernerbob says check it out.

1. ugh I'm scared shitless of those types of movies |
|
My hubby got one the other day (forgot the name but it was a sequel to rob zombies movie - same characters) and I had to go to the bedroom with my laptop. Triple checked the doors and windows and made sure the alarm was set about 3x. Freaky movies are baaaaaaaaaaa for me :)

i thought the movie was over so I came back down and lo and behold it was still on. I came down in the part where the chick got ran over by the mac truck so I just sat down and played on pogo. Looked up and I seen them being surrounded by cops and shooting like mad from their convertible.
:scared:
I was freaked

5. Devils Rejects is a different kind of movie |
|
Personally I think it'll end up being a cult classic. It's part road movie, part horror, part gritty action, and part unidentifyable.
