Yeah I know lots of people hate "Idol" but I like it better than many other reality shows.
I like Taylor because of his talent and also because he is comfortable within himself. He is 29 but has gray hair and didn't try and dye it before his audition. I loved the way he played the harmonica on his way into the "judges chambers" to get their decision if he made the cut to the final 24--it was one of the best moments in "Idol" history ever.
He is an original in a show where too many try to emulate the tried and true.
Go Taylor Hicks!
