Bev Harris on the cover of Hustler! |
|
Okay, well, it's her name, along with Greg Palast's and Peter Coyote's to go with an article about BBV, I'm sure, though I haven't gotten a chance to look at it.
I'm so glad this edition with her article is out, because I've had to look at these twins who look like Steve Tyler in drag, except I'd imagine he doesn't have bozongas like those.
Funny how porn magazines are the outlets for real news so often in this country.
How often have you read a story from Greg Palast in a mainstream publication?
This is his second one within this year in Hustler.

5. Well, Hustler is published by cantankerous Bu$h hater |
|
Larry Flynt, after all. I wonder why he hasn't set up a front organization and started publishing some kind of competitive 'real news' journal -- he knows the publishing industry inside and out. Regardless what you think of him, he definitely has it in for Dim Son and any of those sanctimonious neocon types who go after, oh, say Bill Clinton and have plenty of skirts hanging in their own closets. Oh, yeah -- and a big bankroll to investigate, too!

I got the other Palast article, and the pic that was on the back page...eeeeuuuuwwwww...this woman apparently had bladder problems, is all I'm gonna say.
We also have this magazine called "Naked" which is obviously not meant for females, but it has all these naked men in it...and I admit I had to check it out...and this one guy had this little "Woody" outfit...ala Toy Story...ahem.
LOL. I had to admit it made me laugh.

8. Apprently Fletcher Prouty |
|
who was in the military since the Korean "conflict" and who identified a CIA agent who was one of the "hobos" pictured in Dallas at the time of JFKs assassination...nothing to see here.. had to publish never before seen pix and a big article on his problems with the whole Warren scenario in Gallery.
If you google his name you can get the article (sorry, no girl pix to go along with)...
I just watched three docs about JFK on the Oliver Stone director's cut of the movie. First I knew that Robert MacNeil, of PBS' MacNeil/Lehrer Report was in Dallas that day and believes the assassination was a conspiracy and, in fact, ran over to the fence on the "grassy knoll" after the shots were fired...following police officers, in fact.

12. Um, I'm trying to find the article at their website. |
|
I will now be getting pelting with porn spam for weeks. Whatever, no problem.
But I don't see the column online. Does anyone? I guess I'll have to buy the magazine...
RainDog, do you *swear* that there's a Bev/BBV article in there??? Scout's honor? You wouldn't be jerking us around would you?

24. Ok Ms. RainDog I'll make a leap of faith and hunt for a Hustler... |
|
It won't be near as embarassing as buying a NY Times (to get the latest fab Krugman column). 'Cause Hustler has higher journalistic standards.
(And Larry Flynt is a cool person.)

but if Flynt sees that he sells lots of mags with interesting articles about voter fraud, maybe he'll be inclined to cover the topic again!
And while you're there, see if they carry "Naked." :)

25. Actually, some libraries, such as university libraries, do carry.. |
|
"adult periodicals" (now there's an hilarious alternative term :D). I used to work at the U of Iowa Main Library, and that was one of the interesting tidbits of info I learned from my coworkers. They may, however, be found in a special section and age-restricted, so perhaps you can find someone who's both definitely old enough and not too embarrassed to copy the article for you.

27. The Librarian at my University... |
|
...would go through the "adult periodicals" with her date received stamp, sometimes ten, twenty, thirty times... That was after she discovered the computer geeks were scanning and uploading naughty pictures to usenet.
Yummm. Give me a library date received stamp... I can see how a fetish might develop. An inkpad, a librarian's date received stamp, a pair of breasts...
Oooops, I better quit while I'm ahead.
Check it out Mr. Ashcroft... and yes, Larry Flynt did send me a check once, and I cashed it, but that was a long time ago. For software. You gotta love it.
