Panama Red
I was listening to an old tune by "Riders Of The Purple Sage," called "Panama Red."

My half-clueless sister, (I like her though,) was listening too, and said it was a cute song about a silly guy from Panama.

I looked at my sister, and said, "Panama Red is a kind of pot!"
And nearly died laughing.

We both had a good laugh, saying we should play the song for my totally clueless parents. :-)

2. Henry tasted he got wasted, couldn't hardly see
how he's gonna drive like that is none too clear to me....and he's going down that mountain, fast, fast, fast......

Actually, it was the New Riders of the Purple Sage. They were part of the Grateful Dead's extended family/roadcrew and sorta started playing gigs as their warm-up act on the road. Garcia used to sit in and do same very tasty steel pedal playing with them.

The original pyschedelic cowboys....
