Dylan's "Black Diamond Bay" is. I never paid much attention to it before. No deep meaning or anything, just a really cool song. Emmylou Harris' background vocals make it that much cooler.

said Mr. Dylan long before he wrote Black Diamond Bay. things started to get interesting right about then, to paraphrase. it's always been one of my favorite songs. ps for you guys who don't think Bob can sing. you try singing one of his songs. go ahead. "out on the white veranda, she wears a necktie and a panama hat. her passport shows a face from another time and place she looks nothing like that..."

is one of evocative poetry. The violin of Scarlett Rivera puts the icing on the cake, IMHO.
After Blood On The Tracks, it's my favorite Dylan album. :hi:
