3. You left out "Upright Citizens Brigade"
That's my second favorite. Short-lived but consistently funny.

23. I have the DVD
Actually went to the trouble of figuring out how to play multi-region DVDs after I ordered it from amazon.com.

Definitely worth it. The first episode was ropey but you can see the improvement in every episode - the second series was genius.

I voted for KITH, but if Mr. Show had been available, that TOTALLY would have been my vote. It's brilliant, brilliant.

16. I can't help but say SCTV.
Because you left Red Green off.

If I recall correctly, most of the stuff on SCTV was ad libbed, where a lot of the SNL stuff, even when it was funniest, was fairly tightly scripted. Don't know if this is true of Kids In The Hall, but I guess that's my second on this list.

Amazing, really, how many people it contributed to North American culture -- I know, their output has been shamefully uneven (Marty Short, fire your agent!) but Gene Levy, John Candy, Harond Ramis ... Catherine O'Hara and Andrea Martin.

I find it strange that so many people will claim Canadians have no sense of humor, and yet most of the best sketch comics and ad libbers over the years have come from there.

Although I also like SCTV, In Living Colour, and Saturday Night Live (the very early years only).
