Villanova's Ray hurts eye
New York, NY (Sports Network) - Villanova senior guard Allan Ray sustained an injury to his right eye early in the second half of the Big East Tournament semifinal game against Pittsburgh Friday night.

Pitt's Carl Krauser inadvertently poked Ray in the eye as the two went to the floor for the ball 32 seconds into the half.

Ray had to be helped off the court and his eye was covered by a physician's glove. Ray was then taken by ambulance to a local hospital for observation.

The injury could prove to be devastating for the second-ranked Wildcats, as Ray came into Friday's game second on his team in scoring at 19.4 points per game.

6. It seems he needs it - he was screaming "I can't see!" as he was rushed
off the court. The doctor screamed "get a stretcher" when he saw him. Oh Lord.

13. That's what my son said.
I ran downstairs to check the tv, and he said "Sick. Are they gonna show it?"

14. I saw that, too (not the eye but the report)

That's gotta be scary. It seems like he's gonna be alright though.
