DU3?

I was thinking...maybe some of the more web-savvy DUers could get a domain name and start up a site where DUers could write articles. A certain group of people could choose the most intelligent articles that apply to our liberal philosophies and publish them on the site. This just sprang into my head. Anyone think it's a good idea? I mean, we have DU, but it's a message board. More serious articles could be written than are on the DU main page, right?

Right down the left center of the page are articles submitted primarily by DU readers/members.

Well this would not function primarily as a message board. It wouldn't have to be connected to DU directly, either. I figure that we could discover some great minds this way, but it's just an idea.
