1. I want you to know, my dear Khash.....
That it is entirely possible to dance without it! Mine's quite short, you know....

And I can still do a mean two-step...

Jus' saying!

Can I laugh now?

but you loved the old one-two" . - Kate Bush.

Ya can't head bang without hair whipping your face... And as for romance and sex, I can't go there on an open forum....

8. Ok Ruth......
I love having long hair cuz it gives sadistic men something to grab and pull my head back. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

And it feels good! Kinda like when you get your hair washed at the salon. A little rough but it feels great. Just more so.

But after that post maybe Tori Amos is more appropriate:

"Just because you can make me come doesn't make you Jesus!:

Actually, I think if the Christian God exists, He must have a wicked sense of humour :)

17. You've never seen "The Vicar of Dibley," have you?
Rev. Geraldine had two pics on her wall: one of the latest hunky babe (some Brit, I have no idea who it was), the other of Jesus. She would talk to both of them. :)

I am the USA version of the Vicar of Dibley.

29. I love that show!
I love Dawn French. It almost borders on being sacriligeous.... but it's heart is in the right place.

The Mother Superior was taking a bath. There was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" "The Blind man." "OK, you can come in." "Where do you want me to hang the blinds? By the way, nice tits!"

LOL

5. I miss mine...
Dawg knows I know better than to get a haircut in August, but I did it. Chopped off 19 inches.

Went from butt length to a short shingle in one chop.

It's back down the Atlas vertebra in the back, and just below chin length in the front (in other words, the same length all around) but Damn, that was stupid.

At least I'm having fun with color.... It's purple this week.

10. You and me sound like kindred spirits
My hair is blond.... but it's been red, magenta, purple, blue...

I'm kinda enjoying it going grey, but there's this place on the corner that sells industrial dyes. I'm thinkin' mabe grey isn't nearly as cool as blue.....

and it turned out pale silver and looked REALLY good.

The next week I dyed it BLACK tho...

20. It's naturally red and curly
I'm good to the curls, but red is the least stable color is really hard to prevent from bleaching due to sun and chlorine in the water, so my choices are to protect it and never use tap water to clean it (really hard to do), "touch it up" with commercial dye (which feels dishonest), let it go bronzey-blondy-pink (looks like hell) or use colors never seen in nature. The latter makes me happy.

And since it tends to be light, as long as I don't want bubble-gum pink or bright blue, I can get away with it.

16. Me too. I keep thinking that, at 35, I should be thinking of cutting off
the majority of it. But I really hate myself with short hair...so I'll keep it awhile. MrG wants me to go for the Emmylou Harris look. :)

Edited on Mon Mar-13-06 04:43 PM by u4ic
and no way will I chop mine off. I look lousy with short hair.

I can't let mine get too long, as it's fine and will look stringy past my shoulders.

I don't think age makes a difference. :hi:

edit: look at pics of greywarrior's hair. Gorgeous!

30. Oh Peggy!
Although my preference is for long hair on both men and women..... it must be said that short hair looks great on some people. You'd look silly with long hair, but short hair really suits you. Emphasizes your bone structure and those gorgeous eyes....

34. What did I say I'd do?
I am so busy trying not to do things that I get confused about what I am supposed to do:)

In fact, I'm trying so hard not to do things that I didn't call KitchenWitch this afternoon! I wanted to and she told me to, but I couldn't.

Every one keeps saying "Khash! Don't!" So I'm getting confused....... :)

25. I wish I looked good with long hair but I don't.
My hair is stick straight. It has no life to it when I've tried to grow it long. I'm destined to be a short haired gal.

33. Mines' been long since I was 13, but I still don't dance.
So don't anyone ask me to.

Amazing how many times long hair for guys has gone into and out of fashion, but screw the trends, I've not changed then and am not about to start now.

Come to think of it, I've pretty much dressed the same for about 30 years, too. What a boring guy, huh?

36. I cut my hair a few months ago and I loooooove it!!!!!!!
I had long hair for 23 years, and finally got tired of it. It took way too long to dry, cost too much for shampoo and conditioner, and it looked weird bc I am really short.

Maybe it doesn't move when I dance, but it makes it awesome to wear a hat!!!
