I learn better from a book than a screen
Is it because all those pixels dancing around are distracting me?

2. that reminds me
I wish the default formatting here was a little different. Lines as long as the window. I don't like that. Short lines are easier to read.

4. Well, your window doesn't have to be as wide as your screen
Make it whatever size looks good to you.

5. you have a point there
I generally like whatever app I'm paying attention to at the time to be maximized. But you do make a good point. Next time I'm trying to read a dense post, I'll make the window smaller. :thumbsup:

8. That's hard for me as well. (long lines/few spaces)
When I remember, (usually, but not always)
I try to keep my lines short,
and break the sentences up
in ways that maximize readability.

Newspapers are broken into those narrow columns
for this very reason;
why should my computer screen be any different?

6. Ditto..
I usually buy tech books instead of finding the info I need on the internet. I use the internet to find small snippets of code. But, I enjoy having manuals in paper form.
