I learn better from a book than a screen |
|
Is it because all those pixels dancing around are distracting me?

I wish the default formatting here was a little different. Lines as long as the window. I don't like that. Short lines are easier to read.

4. Well, your window doesn't have to be as wide as your screen |
|
Make it whatever size looks good to you.

5. you have a point there |

I generally like whatever app I'm paying attention to at the time to be maximized. But you do make a good point. Next time I'm trying to read a dense post, I'll make the window smaller.

8. That's hard for me as well. (long lines/few spaces) |
|
When I remember, (usually, but not always) I try to keep my lines short, and break the sentences up in ways that maximize readability.
Newspapers are broken into those narrow columns for this very reason; why should my computer screen be any different?

I usually buy tech books instead of finding the info I need on the internet. I use the internet to find small snippets of code. But, I enjoy having manuals in paper form.

I seem to be able to read for hours with it and get little fatigue.
